This page explains what Mahjong Set Finder collects on the website and what the optional Mahj Set Finder Chrome extension stores on your device. Browsing the catalog does not require an account.

Website

• Analytics. We use Google Analytics (G-FBKBQCNSX9) to understand aggregate traffic (pages viewed, rough geography, device type). Google may set cookies or similar identifiers as described in Google’s own policies.
• No account. You do not need to sign up or log in to browse sets, mats, bags, or the size checker.
• Affiliate links. Some product links may include an Amazon Associates tag. That does not give us your Amazon account data. See our FTC disclosure.
• Hosting. The site is served via Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare may process standard request logs (IP, user-agent) for security and delivery.

Chrome extension (Mahj Set Finder)

The extension is optional. When installed:

• Local watchlist. Watched ASINs and related preferences are stored in chrome.storage on your device. We do not host a user account for that list.
• Catalog & prices. The extension fetches public JSON from mahjongsetfinder.com (for example /data/sets.json and price history) to power search, rack-fit hints, and drop alerts.
• Notifications. If you enable price-drop notifications, the browser may show local notifications. You can turn that off in the extension popup.
• Amazon pages. On Amazon product URLs the extension may read the page context only to recognize an ASIN and show a small watch / “open on site” chip. It does not scrape your Amazon account, orders, or personal profile, and it does not inject a price-overlay scraper for personal data.
• No sale of PII. We do not sell personal information. The extension is not a data brokerage product.

What we do not do

• We do not require a password or payment card to use the site.
• We do not intentionally collect names, emails, or phone numbers through the catalog UI.
• We do not sell or rent personal data.
