Large-print American mahjong sets
Last updated · by Mahjong Set Finder team · How we collect data
As of 2026-10-30, 38 products in our catalog are marked large_print (12 complete sets, 26 tiles-only). These favor easier-to-read tile faces for older players or low-vision play — separate from the large-print paper National Mah Jongg League card.
American mahjong is also spelled Mah Jongg or mahjongg (especially in National Mah Jongg League materials). On this site we usually write “mahjong.” Large-print Mah Jongg tiles ≠ the large-print yearly card.

Frequently asked questions
What are large-print mahjong tiles?
Listings we mark large_print call out bigger or easier-to-read tile faces. 38 products carry that flag in our catalog as of 2026-10-30.
Is a large-print set the same as a large-print Mah Jongg card?
No. The large-print card is a paper NMJL card with bigger type. Large-print tiles are the physical tiles. See the 2027 card order guide for the paper card.
Do large tiles need special racks?
Often yes — check tile height against rack length with the rack size guide and size checker.
