What you can customize
- Custom jokers — your monogram, logo, mascot, wedding date or club emblem on the joker tiles.
- Custom mahjong tiles — tile back and face colors, flower tiles, accent colors and engraving style.
- Logo and branding — company or club logo on jokers, racks, bags or the box (you must own or have rights to the artwork).
- Racks and pushers — colors matched to your tiles, with or without pushers.
- Bags, cases and packaging — carry bag or case, gift box, insert card for events.
Custom sets follow the standard American (NMJL-style) tile mix with jokers. We do not reproduce NMJL card content, and we do not copy other brands' tile designs — art is original or supplied by you.
Who orders custom mahjong sets in bulk
- Mahjong clubs and leagues — matching sets for every table, with the club emblem on the jokers.

- Weddings, showers and bachelorette weekends — personalized mahjong sets as favors or bridal-party gifts.
- Events and tournaments — branded sets for players, sponsors or prize tables.
- Corporate gifts — wholesale mahjong sets with your logo for clients or teams.
What to include in your quote request
- Quantity — minimum 50 sets (more sets = lower price per set).
- Design idea — what to customize (jokers, logo, colors, racks, bag, packaging); attach sketches or logo files if you have them.
- Deadline — the date you need the sets in hand (event date).
- Ship-to country — and ZIP/postal code, so shipping can be included in the quote.
The email opens prefilled with these questions. We reply with options and a quote; pricing, timing and specs are confirmed in writing per order before anything is produced.
Just need one set?
We don't make single custom sets. For one set, compare ready-made options: best American mahjong sets by budget, designer tiles from Oh My Mahjong, gift ideas, or the tile / rack size checker.
Disclosure: Mahjong Set Finder is an independent comparison guide. Custom orders are handled by the Mahjong Set Finder team and produced by our manufacturing partner — this is our own service, separate from the third-party products and affiliate links elsewhere on the site.
Frequently asked questions
Can I get a custom American mahjong set made?
Yes. We take custom and personalized American mahjong set orders starting at 50 sets — custom jokers, logo or monogram, colors, racks, bags and packaging. Email us with your quantity, design idea, deadline and ship-to country for a quote.
What is the minimum order for custom mahjong sets?
The minimum order is 50 sets. Larger orders get a lower price per set.
Can you make a personalized mahjong set with a custom joker?
Yes — custom jokers are the most popular option: a monogram, logo, wedding date or club emblem on the joker tiles. You must own or have rights to any artwork you send.
How much do custom mahjong tiles cost?
Pricing depends on quantity, how much is customized, accessories and shipping destination, so every order is quoted individually. Volume pricing applies: the more sets you order, the lower the price per set.
Do you offer wholesale mahjong sets for clubs, events or corporate gifts?
Yes. Bulk orders from 50 sets suit mahjong clubs, teachers, tournaments, weddings and corporate gifts, with or without your logo.
Can I order just one custom mahjong set?
No — custom production starts at 50 sets. For a single set, see our comparison of ready-made American mahjong sets and designer tiles.
Do custom sets include the NMJL card?
No. We do not reproduce National Mah Jongg League card content; players buy the current card directly from the NMJL.
